Being a different color, I'm guessing that one was maybe the puppetmancer.

I think that has a very high chance of being correct. Roko, you already got your butt handed to you by one monster. Why. Would. You. Poke. Another. And one that's absolutely radiating mana even in stasis?

Real galaxy-brained bunch here save for poor Saida-hime, trapped in a barbarian earth dragon's body and still no-one takes her seriously  And she alone may know the nature of exactly what is sleeping in that tree. It doesn't look pokeable. It looks terrifying.
