Wild theory: They're about to meet a REAL volcano dragon. All that destruction isn't a battle at all. It's from the dragon. Weak mana signal because he was asleep or otherwise buried. Inactive volcano.
Its about to get real active and they are at ground zero. Let the fun begin!

Astute observation. If it IS Prince Shock Jock, they're going to wish for the volcano dragon. Guess we'll find out soon enough!

My prediction is Thunder bro is going to be So wounded and exhausted searching for sadia. that the moment he arrives. He wont have much will to fight back. Sadia and him has their reunion moment only for volcano dragons to show up. Hard not to see the storm clouds and giant snake from the mountain. Their they see brand AKA sadia standing next to the defeated thunder god. And with Sadia, the quetz that he freed leading to his banishment.
In short Brand aka sadia will be hoisted up as a hero to the volcano dragons. While the rest of the gang will be taken into custody. Most likely to be thrown into the maw of a god volcano dragon as a living sacrifice. Thus sadia has to figure out how to save everyone before its to late.
