NOT a free village then. Which means either Vetra herself is going to show up sooner or later, or Prince Shock Jockey is going to once he gets finished playing around with Suzocon-kyo.

About time you thanked Saida, Brand, for all she's done for you since this mess started, including getting you off that cursed island. That was a very sweet moment. Back to drama soon enough!

Is being in Saida's body affecting Brand's emotions or is it everything they've been through together since the swap softening him up?
They're definitely very good friends by now, and I'd also say Brand and Roko are better friends now than before this adventure due to their mutual survival efforts.

To be fair, Brand is a character who while optimistic had a bit of a bleak outlook on his life. He wasn't your typically angry Volcano dragon. He wanted to help people instead of Burning down villages and stuff, which i guess is typical for normal volcano dragons. This is why he tried to use his fire power To help people, sure for some kind of tribute. thou one could argue that it was more of a Formality then anything else. but in the end as roko stated, he liked helping poeple. Compared to his fate of Growing so big that he cannot move and then Causing a massive natrual disaster due to Hunger pains. It is quite depressing if you think about it.

Saida, In all honesty helped him come out of his shell. As outside of Roko, he really didn't have anyone. Now, he has people he care about and even thou he is still mad at Roko. He still genuinely cares about everyone around him. And brands good nature is coming out. As i feel they both want to settle down somewhere to Provide warmth and rain to a community of their own.

Ps, god only knows what hormones and junk they both are dealing with. Specially considering they are two different species. So what is going threw their head must be crazy and beyond their understanding.

It's quite possible that if Saida eventually supplants her mother and becomes Queen Saida, that she and Brand can form an alliance even after he grows bigger. After the sheer amount of horror these two have been through they at the least will end up fire-forged friends, and if anyone can find a way around Brand's eventual fate it's Saida.

One can hope, Granted i have no idea How she could supplant her mother. Hell both characters are Insanely week by comparison to most of the characters they meet. Combine with the fact that they are still exploring their own bodies. I think they would be lucky to just escape with the orb. Let alone defeat one of the gods.

Side note, this has to be one of the Most dangerous universes i have ever seen. Just due to how Many powerful creatures exist in it. From the various type of dragons, the kitsunes, and god knows what else. Their is a lot of creatures that can one shot you.

The problem is that a lot of the kami - the gods and demigods - of this world have become corrupt and evil, but the elder dryad revealed they didn't used to be that way. Finding out exactly what corrupted them is probably the key to everything.

As for defeating her mother, Saida is her daughter and did inherit her power, but is much younger than Taran and hasn't fully realized it yet. But maybe she won't have to. It's possible Queen Vetra will do it to herself. Suzokon-kyo and Taran-ouji are doing a fine job beating the crap out of each other, after all, and Darya wants to take on Vetra, as quixotic as that would be. She might hoist herself and her son by their own petards, and that would leave Saida in charge. And the Aves and kobolds would finally be free.

Note, i don't believe Sadia has her power. As Sadia dose not have her body. Brand might be able to pull it off. But lets be honest hear their both fish out of water. So until they both get their bodies back. I am not holding my breath for one of them going growing spiky golden hair and Blowing up the gods.

That said, its kinda debatable if they are corrupted or not. As corrupted kinda implies that Some evil force is controlling them. When in truth they could just be poeple. And people are kinda pricks, So sadia mother could just want to rule the world. Their is no Evil force dictating she do it.

Great example of this is Darya, Who acts as a Freedom fighter against the Queltz. But dose this by enslaving everyone to her own will. And using them as forced labor to mine stuff for her. Like sure she could be corrupted by some Unnamed force. But then why is she pretending to be a good guy? In my opinion she is just using this it inflate her own ego as she dose the Same thing her foe does. Arguably worse as least the birds actual enjoy being enslaved to the Queltz. While she just brainwashes everyone with her voice. As she is just a vile creature, her actions cant be blamed upon some corruption.
