Dollar Store Thor was so eager to blast something that he missed the blatantly obvious kitsune right below him. Rather than taking the prudent... and tactical... action of backing off a bit and at least blasting the shrine from RANGE, he just flies right in. And then thinks smacking "Saida" with his tail is going to undo a kitsune's illusions. OMG. This guy is a piece of work.

He has at least some of the pieces, but "Taran SMASH!" Is more his style than actually putting them together.
Prince Taran can be tactical when the situation calls for it.

Taran-ouji - tactical?? Political, I can understand. His little demonstration to the Ave majordomo, and his buttering up Surya, certainly shows he understands palace politics.

But tactical? An angry rhinoceros is more tactical than he is. Also has more brains. He played right into Suzokon-kyō's paws and may well have hosed everyone. Because his idea of dealing with a problem is "Taran solves his problems with a lightning-bolt, and he never has the same problem twice!"

Too bad it didn't work out so well this time. Bout the only thing I give him credit for is that he didn't actually try blasting his "sister," but tried whacking her with his tail instead. That's at least a slight improvement, but it was ultimately irrelevant.
