Not bad!
Nice foreboding dark clouds to signify the evil that is cold. [;)
I like the detail in the wave too. [:)

Your not seeing anything yet, just putting the layout, and toying with how i want to paint some of it.

The clouds were becoming obnoxious up there so I move them down, started painting the sky, and i think I like it. I may keep it just as it is (Finished of course) with the color differences. Also added a ship, that is probably the first thing you noticed. The ship gives perspective to the scales of everything, although I'm planing to add trees later. They will add even more perspective. May add a whole fleet of them. So yharg!
I also wont be on tomorrow as I have a lan party from 3pm to 3 am... O_O What a way to spend a weekend.

Oh hey, It's good that your archiving them ]:) I like it when things just don't disappear off the face of the net!

if you need some reference pics for ice and iceberg stuff i got some from dad in Greenland.
to me it doesnt look like you need it. great job so far!

Im just drawing off the top of my head, some pictures would be a nice reference. Also the scene turned to night! :O Will post it this weekend.
-
that night idea seems awesome! i really can't wait to see.

As my art teacher would say: It's very fugitous.
No, we don't know what that word means, either. But it apparently applies to Cezanne, so it must be a compliment of some sort.
The little green tree is interesting. Because the rest of the painting is in shades of blue, the green really pops out at me even though it's so small. I can't wait to see the night version.

Paint a giant tree that obscures half the picture!
