The discussion last night about Windows 8 made me curious so posting this here. Personally I use Vista on my desktop and 7 on my laptop.
-
My sister is the only one here that uses Vista. Our desktop uses 7 as do my dad's and mine's laptops.
-
Talking about my currently used PCs - Win7 on the laptop, XP on the desktop (it's 2005-era. {;)).
Plus Linux in various versions on my servers(Debian), virtual machines(Debian), and internet router(OpenWRT).

AWWW I missed a OS discussion on CF? *SAD MEWS*
Currently all my Compys are on Win 7, (two thinkpad laptops) an Old OLD desktop with Win XP (single core CPU era, when GHZ mattered) a oldish netbook with win XP too!
Mobile Device wise... I have an Ipad (so iOS) and a Galaxy Note with Android 4.1! Ice Cream Sandwhich!
If anything when I build my new desktop this Christmas/Newyear I'll get Windows 8 on it! ]:)

Im still not too much of a fan about windows 8.
More of a touch and go kinda program, more towards the mobile phone users.
quick tabs everywhere and made for the windows phone.
I like windows 7 more.

Same. Judging by what 8's been doing so far, I'll wait for the next one before I upgrade from 7. Back in the day I used Win3.11, skipped 95, used 98, skipped 2000, used XP, skipped Vista. Now I have 7 and it's okay enough. Just skip every other Windows. Like the Star Trek movies. :P
I also use n00buntu from time to time if there's a program I want to use on there that has bad or rarely updated Windows installers.

Win 7n x64 on my main, and Win 7 32-Bit on my older. I'm not switching to 8, just have heard so many problems.

Everything I've seen indicates under the hood Win 8 is awesome. It's just that it's UI was conceived by fad obsessed dweebs and is an abomination

Yeah it's made for a tablet and I have a desktop so ... why ever would I install that ...

It's that and it's restrictive, not to mention due to certain "features"(Windows Live) it has a gaping security hole.
