Hi guys, so here's a story I did in January of this year, it is the first introduction of Cody (which is me) & inspired by night walks in my city.

Palma, Mallorca (not to be confused with La Palma), such splendid & elegant city filled with old quaint streets dating back to the late Middle ages, there have been a few myths & legends around this particular place, both known & obscure.
The Dragon of Na Coca, The Tale of The Witch Joana, Nicolau The Fish, etc. But none can be compared to a new recent myth that have began to appear since the 2020s, I present to you, the one and only... Cody, The Werewolf of Mallorca
Cody himself is a mysterious individual, taking the form of an bipedal/humanoid wolf with brown & white fur, he has glistening blue eyes that look like the ocean, he wears indigo & purple swim trunks along with a black cape (which has a wide hole in it), he carries an leather bag that has the color of aqua cyan.
He wears two bracelets, one on his right wrist (bracelet consisting of multiple scuplted shapes & symbols), the other on his left ankle (bracelet is of the color light green with a red heart symbol), he also wears a necklace with a sun pedant attached to it, we will talk about it later.
The first sightings of Cody first began in early 2021, when a witness was walking in the streets of Palma at night when they spotted what appears to be a dog in a black cape sitting near the docks looking towards the sea, curious, the witness approaches the dog to get a closer look, only for the witness to instead find Cody.
The "werewolf" then turns around and greets the witness with "Hello, my name is Cody! And you?", the witness then runs around from the spot. "When I saw it, I thought it was just a guy in a costume, I did not expect for it to blink & move their mouth." Unfortunately, nobody believed the witness' encounter with the entity and deemed them "crazy".
Cody lives his life in curiosity about the island he resides in, exploring various locations & sights ever known to Mallorca, he can also be spotted looking over in the balconies of several buildings (it is unknown how he got in them), even the hotel receptionists & guests also have their own accounts of the creature. They state that the werewolf came to the hotels to check them out, he waves at them & passes by, the residents were incredibly weirded out when they first meet him.
"I don't think that werewolf thing is hostile," said the receptionist of one of the hotels & resorts "they might be harmless and just wants to explore the world, call me insane if you want to."
Just as the receptionist stated, Cody is actually friendly & means no harm, he can also help people who are injured greatly, there was this one time where an camper was taking a stroll through the woods when they're nearly attacked by a bear, they luckily escaped but they tripped & has sustained a injury on their arm. That's when they find Cody who is wandering in the forest, after seeing the camper looking hurt, he approached them and asks if they're ok. He then reaches into his leather bag, pulls out a piece of cloth and wraps it around their arm where the injury is located, the camper then feels better now & healed.
"It's very suprising how a kind creature from the woods came to me & healed me," says the camper in a interview "I wonder if others have seen it too."
However, Cody isn't a regular werewolf, rather, he has another form in store. When he clutches his sun necklace (which has a hidden shark tooth beneath it) Cody's appearance would then change to look a little fish-like but still wolf looking, gaining fins on his elbows, shoulders & waist along with an shark fin on his back (within the hole on his cape). He grows webbing between his fingers/paws, aswell between his arms & torso. His feet then elongates (the toes united with webbing) & flattens like a piece of pancake or leather, turning them into flexible flippers while still keeping his paw pads (though, it's hard to walk on land with them as Cody usually trips on them).
He also gets gills both on his neck, chest (usually hidden by fur) and probably on his muzzle. His ears will then also look slighty shark-like and his fluffy tail will also become fish-like with the tip having slighty transparent fins. On top of that, the pedant on his necklace will also change from a sun to a crescent moon (the bottom tip of the crescent moon appears to be missing as if taken off).
While Cody is in this aquatic form, it allows him to be able to swim & propel underwater faster & farther (using his fins, webs, wolf fish tail but mostly his paw flippers, usually dolphin kicking with them), aswell as to breathe & survive underwater thanks to his gills without drowning (though bubbles still come out from his nose & mouth often). To change back to just werewolf, he has to clutch the necklace again. Few have encountered Cody while in this form.
One account claims to have witnessed Cody in his aqua-wolf form, they were scuba diving under the sea when they spotted what appeared to be an "abnormally large fish", they then follow the tail only to discover him swimming around the ocean, enjoying the sights & sounds of it. Cody then waves with his webbed hands to the diver & says "Oh umm hi, how are you?" (though the bubbles from his mouth make it difficult to understand), again none believe the scuba diver's story to be true.
Another witness also claimed to have seen cody transforming from a regular werewolf to his aquatic form, describing it as "bizarre and probably was hallucinating". Others also said that while they were on boat or fishing trips in the ocean, they spotted Cody doing a dolphin flip to the surface.
However, the more common the Cody sightings get, the more they started to believe it. Unfortunately, this caused a lot of unconfirmed hoaxes to spread like wildfire, mostly suggesting that the werewolf is "dangerous".
This led to an angry mob starting a hunt for the creature, fortunately, they weren't able to find him around the island as if he have vanished or have hidden out somewhere & knew it was gonna happen.
This also led people to tie him to a specific conspiracy referred to as "The Mallorca Critter Invasion" that involves similar Mallorca myths & legends, such as "The Caped Grey Fox Mage" & possibly "his twin sister" and "The Cyborg Artic Wolf", others reports include an anthromorphic salamander, & wyvern. The conspiracy states that there is an unknown force that's drawing these creatures to the island, even connecting them to the egg sculpture near the Es Baluard modern art museum and a strange pink symbol painted in the exterior walls of several old buildings & structures.
"I don't know what's going on in Mallorca nowadays." One of the investigaters stated "Is it just me or there is a hidden portal hidden somewhere in the island that allowed the critters to arrive here."
Another interesting tidbit is that if one is able to make friends with Cody, they are given a bracelet that has a certain color, symbolizing their friendship with him (as stated in a diary from a 8-9 year old child who was saved by Cody from being drowned while on a boat trip with their father).
The Werewolf of Mallorca sightings still continue to this day...
