Spectating this was really cool
I saw with my own eyes the birth of several Virmirs!

The only problem was my crappy connection last night >_<.
At midnight I lost connection for like 4 hours... that's why i dropped from the chat

I hate how the brushes work in OC... couldn't figure the blasted things out.  May possibly do better next time.

Yes, was tons of fun despite the multiple spazzings-out of the program. Brushes seemed to work better for me (most of the time) too.

Yea it is REALLY fun Dran thing is OC only allows a Maximum of 4 people + the fact it seems to be a bit laggy on huge canvas sizes!

This Weeks OC!

This week we tried iscribble! It was cool enough, but the canvas size was too small for everyone to fit + the lack of pressure sensitivity made it a pain for everyone. Thus the search for a cool OC alternative continues!

Oh (last edit I swear!) apparently Iscribble deletes the board 3 hours after one has closed the board.... If I recall correctly we all just Logged out! who says we need to close the board?

I'm tempted to say I like iScribble better because the blasted thing doesn't crash and it seems a bit more responsive (despite how primitive it is).  I wonder if OC would work better with only two users.  (Apparently it works for SOME people, given what I see in various art galleries).  Then again, only two users is boring.  And really, there's only enough room on iscribble for two users to draw anyway.

So yes... must find something that works...

Haha yea, from FA descriptions it seems to usually be only two people in there, and I suspect that the fact that we are trying to connect 4 users from around the world doesn't help...

I was poking around in Hamachi, and apparently it encrypts the connection, which can cause problems and lag... Perhaps we should try it turned off? anything that gets rid of a bit of lag is good right? Though I'm not sure about the security implications of that....

BTW I totally slept at 9pm last night... I just woke up at 12am for some reason
+ Can you believe I've been editing that blasted post for over an hour now... gah!
++ I can't believe I use so much similes now... at the beginning of the year I remember telling friends I hate smilies, and that they're stupid, that of course was before CF Chat came into being

Oh also... if you look down the bottom of this post while logged in, you can download the WPE file! Put that into OpenCanvas and REPLAY everything that was drawn! AWESOME!

I of course retract everything I said above about OC not working correctly, now that I have a new tablet that can actually handle it.  We will do this more often now.

all we have to do now.. is try more people, a bigger canvas and more layers!
