That was quick.

Geary: That means you get a companion for four levels, then it gets an upgrade.
Draykin: A very PAINFUL upgrade.
* Digital_Vulpine eeps, since the rules don't specify that I'm exempt from the psychic link that Wizards have with their familiars. o_o;
Geary: GET YOUR PET DRUNK.

I guess he doesn't like references to things? [:P

(16:30:39) Virmir: You are a pony by default now? GAH HA HA
(16:31:04) Virmir: I never knew any true ponies.
(16:31:14) Virmir: I quite like your pony look.

Is anyone else not really all that shocked? I mean, he was pretty much asking for it.

"This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill - the story ends, you wake up in your bed believing whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes."

Or... he may not be dead yet.  There's always the possibility that that centipede-dragon is going to suck his life force and leave him a soul-drain prisoner or something.

Who's ready for Princess Hugs~?

Naaa, I don't think the Commodore would go down that easily.  Clearly this one was involved in that whole Lady of the Stars cult -- he's totally going to do a hulk transformation on the next page, just like the Priest in that flashback from before!

Crazy, Lady of the Stars Hulk-Priest:

Evidence of Commodore's Involvement:

+ the several comics that follow.

Though, in all seriousness, the above is highly speculative and likely pretty far off base, hah hah.

arrogance and pride. Can't believe he actually thought he could take that dragon down himself. There are some fights, you just can't win.

It's okay, people have survived being Impaled with Extreme Prejudice, even in real life.

Oh look, he got some tail!

I'm not sure that's the tail impaling him.  Look at all the dragon's secondary legs.
