what would happen if a fox stepped on a mario kart boost pad?

It would probably just fly in the direction of the boost pad.

Nah. I think it's leg would fly in the direction of the fox making the fox slip and land on his back. Plus it is a possibility that it would turn into a kart.{;)

Seeing that the pads cause the exhaust pipes to ignite. It's possible that the boost pads wouldn't do anything to a fox.
