To be fair, 'modern FPS' basically limits you to CoD, BF, and the other one that we don't talk about.

Geary: That means you get a companion for four levels, then it gets an upgrade.
Draykin: A very PAINFUL upgrade.
* Digital_Vulpine eeps, since the rules don't specify that I'm exempt from the psychic link that Wizards have with their familiars. o_o;
Geary: GET YOUR PET DRUNK.

touché.  I mostly play it for the glorious sound fx and flanking dem noobs, lol.  Nothin' as good as flankin' noobs.

I'm afraid that outside of Planetside 2, the most modern FPS I have is Battlefield 2142.  Good old Battlefield 2 is much better in my opinion though.  {;)

The main reason I haven't tried to get a group together for it is I haven't thought of a way to get us all on the same team, as just about all BF servers autobalance and most scramble between matches.  I suppose if we're patient and find a server that doesn't scramble, we could gradually move onto the same team as people come and go.

I have a group of friends and we used to play BF all the time, and we were good too. We have since stopped and I don't know what we are going to do with BF4.
