FREE ART - Dragon Raffle! (Closed!)

Good evening Crimson Flag goers,

In an effort to generate some interesting drawing ideas (and perhaps ease back into drawing in general), I have decided to hold a free art raffle!  Please read the rules and directions below prior to posting.


So how does this work?

It's quite simple, really--anyone who wishes to do so is allowed to post a drawing request below!  Each request will be assigned a number, and at the end of the raffle period, I will use a random-number generator to pick three numbers.  Those whose numbers are picked will get their request drawn in glorious full-color!


The Rules

- Each request must contain a dragon, or something dragon-related!  This does not necessitate that your character be a dragon.  For instance, you could request a dragonized version of a non-dragon character, or your non-dragon character interacting with a dragon (...or any other interesting idea involving something dragon-related).

- Two character maximum per request!  Two character requests will be drawn only with a simple background.  If your request contains only a single character, feel free to request a more complicated background.

- Please number your request!  Like in Virmir's Ultimate Request Topic, please look at those who have posted before you and precede your request with an incremented number!  If the ordering gets mixed-up for some reason, please edit your post to fix it.

- Please provide references for any character included in your request.  If you don't have a reference, please provide as detailed a description as you see fit.


If your request is picked, you can expect the finished art product to look something akin to the style of these past drawings I have done:

I will close the raffle and draw numbers sometime during evening on Friday, April 12th.  Good luck -- hopefully we see some interesting ideas!

1.  Seldragon and Kouryuu, with Seldragon learning something about cooking as a dragon.  I'm picturing Seldragon embarrassed at the smoking, blackened mass of fish in front of him, possibly holding his snout with both forepaws.  Kouryuu's reaction would be up to you!

6. My character, Ash (ref for jackal: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8177684/ ref for jackal/dragon hybrid: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8537134/ ), in complete wrath mode, with lighting all around him and a rush of wind.

I would like to ask for some minor changes from the pic (if you draw this).

I would like the top of the tail be that brownish color instead of grey.
I would like the muzzle to be more canine than . . . bird.
I would like him to have fangs, gold in color.
I would like the red in the arms to be as dark as the red in the legs.
And I would like the tail tip to be a mix of fur and horns.

I hope this is OK.

Synopis: Virmirgon, experienced connoisseur in the ways of Getting Turned Into a Dragon, gives Pontosgon important advice in that you should sit on your money instead of spending it (i.e. on commissions)

[Generic Meatbag #14]

#13 (I must be lucky)

A Generic Meatbag in a freefall race with a diving dragon high up in the sky.

There are no references for the Meatbags, as they are intended to be visageless. I have only 3 parameters; 1) that he be 6' 3" tall, 2) that he be thin and gangly with a light musculature, and 3) that he have "We are human, after all" tattooed in simple text on his left arm. His favored dress is a T-shirt with loose military-style cargo pants and gym shoes. The rest is up to your imagination.

As for the dragon, I'd like a western style, again, your choice of details.

The perspective for the picture should be either top-down or looking up, with both contestants trying to be as aerodynamic as possible. Make it look like they're going fast.
