As you can see from my post here, the quality of my art fluctuates a lot and I would feel terrible giving something cruddy to someone who paid for it. Further, I have never been quick with drawing so the money-to-time ratio for what I could charge for art at my skill level (probably in the $5-10 range...or less) would certainly not be worth it on my end, given that it takes me typically between 4-8 hours to finish a full-color picture.
