What was the actual effect of the pies on "Sir Mage" Virmir, merely stunned like any of us would be IRL? Or was there some more significant real effect?

I assume what ever the effect pies would have on him in the MK 'verse! he did just get up and walk all the way back to his tower, so I doubt there's any real Long term damage! X3
