It's your story. While an interracial analysis would be pretty interesting, if you don't want to mess around with it, you don't have to. We're only offering advice, in the end you're the one making the comic. If you want to be serious, be serious. If you want to make funny, make funny. If you want to make funny while being serious, have at it. It's all down to your choice, and the people who like it will like it and the people who don't can find something else. I say the idea has a bunch of promise, it's your decision how you want to develop that promise.

You've got an interesting Idea here, but as I see it it's lacking on the human side of things. As far as I see there is neither a human protagonist or antagonist. Since you have such a backstory regarding both "races", especially with the greater depth being given to the human side of things, the humans need at least one storyline representative.

Ooh, a firearm. An extremely ambiguous firearm, but a gun nonetheless.
To be more specific, it appears to be a sidearm.
True, it's kind of hard to conceal a rifle in your pocket without using hammerspace.
(Although it is hard to make a click noise with a gun without having either a hammer or slide... Maybe it's the safety?)

Just Left 4 Dead 2 lately. Since there's not actual beating that, it's gonna take a while for it to burn out.

In on it. If anyone wants to run a few games of Left 4 dead 2, look up Stark Raven.

And another punch to the face. ]:P

And am I the only one getting a Left 4 Dead vibe from the second panel? It reminds me of a tank lifting up a chunk of concrete to throw.
You're not the only one. Although the Fen isn't exactly great as a Tank.

A little on the short side, and his aim is bad.

"That's one of life's great mysteries isn't it? Why are we here? Are we the product of some cosmic coincidence, or is there really a god out there? You know, with a plan for us and stuff. I don't know man, but it keeps me up at night." - Pvt. Dexter Grif
