May I have the bottom half of my collar tag added, please?

Is it too late to adjust the appearance of the ID tag on my collar?

Now that's obviously a tiger.

The glasses look like they have arms, rather than being pince-nez as they usually are. Also make sure you add the proper design to his collar tag:

The sketch is too sketchy for me to really comment on. It's not obvious I'm a tiger yet. :)

As far as I can make it out, it looks good.

Updating now, as for paying for it...I think the easiest solution would be to pool it to me and then I'll send it to Caleb through PP.

I have PayPal, so I could pay Caleb directly if I had his PayPal account. :)

Paypal likes to eat fees for each individual transaction that happens, I think pooling the money through Kenku would be best.

I don't know how to pay Kenku outside of PayPal. Maybe if it's sent as a gift, there will be no transaction fee, and that's how we'll save money by having a single transaction for Caleb.

I think Dmitriy also inlcuded some information here.

Won't be able to stream this morning, but tomorrow I probably will.

How do we pay?

Most of my streaming times are monday and wednesday are 7am-3pm CST, which isn't too great of a time to watch. My usual method works by, drawing out a rough sketch of everyone and post that for review. But I can attempt this random order deal, and ABCDE and EDCBA method to drawing folks.

Saturday mornings 9:15-1:45 PM streams would be the best time for people to come and watch progress.

It was just a suggestion so that people who waited the longest to see sketches of themselves don't wait as long to see inks of themselves. If nobody's watching, it probably doesn't matter, and actually you could choose to prioritize those who are able to watch. There are obviously infinite possibilities. I was just brainstorming. :3

Grant Fox will be drinking Tiger Twist and turning from a foxger (fox/badger, soft g) into a foxger (fox/tiger, hard G). I want to see him playing a board game with, or offering a board game to, Kenku, as well.

Draw me with wings, please.

Edit 2: Will you be streaming the making of this commission, Caleb? If so, I propose drawing Kenku first in each phase of the drawing (sketching, inking, coloring, shading, etc.). For the rest, use random.org to choose a random order for the first phase, and reverse the order from the previous phase for each later phase (for example, ABCDE for phase one, EDCBA for phase two, ABCDE for phase three, etc.). It seems most fair.

Are you still doing requests? A pixel foxger sounds appealing. . . :)

Art Gallery / Draw me a Battle of LITS shirt please!
« on: January 06, 2013, 06:19:49 PM »
For some time, I've wanted some furry artwork to print on a shirt, specifically a shirt to give away to people who helped fund the nestorgames edition of my board game Battle of LITS. I'll give two shirts away and get one for myself. Because I have a low budget, I can't exactly afford to commission Virmir right now (although things could change in the future). Unfortunately, neither of the other artists I've asked who are both cheap and good have had time to come through. So instead, I'm going to ask people on the forums, if they have enough kindness in their heart to draw free stuff, to do it for me! You'll get nothing out of it except the opportunity to hone your art skills, but isn't that enough for some budding artists?

I want the shirt to feature my Jack Russell Terrier character Brian Dewitt (https://www.dropbox.com/s/clrcal5zc4713t8/Brian.png) and my fox/badger character Grant Badger Fox (http://art.by.virmir.com/art/klonk) standing on opposite sides of the Battle of LITS pieces (stacked like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/sedxmem21t0rjaj/path4763-6.png). There's no need for a background; the characters can just be in a white void for all I care, and in fact, I think it would look better on a shirt that way. Other than that, I suppose you can be creative (or sketch stuff and ask me about it). ]:)

In the interest of full disclosure, note that there are a couple of artists whose styles I like (Norzman and Rawr) and who have expressed interest in doing this for cheaper than the $40 I'd have to pay Virmir. Neither of them has actually had time to draw something yet, but if either of them does, I might be more inclined to use their artwork for the shirt I get myself, because they're friendly, and stuff. However, if I have multiple shirt submissions in this thread, perhaps it is only fair that I let the winners of said shirts pick what they want to wear. Therefore, even if Norzman or Rawr comes through, if you feel inclined to create your own interpretation, don't be too discouraged; you will, after all, be able to develop your skill, if nothing else comes of it, and you might still be donating artwork to someone else's shirt! ]:)

FrostedLights gets a STRIKE.

I hate it when my "check on Battle of LITS tourney" alarm goes off when I'm nowhere near a computer.
