It's cool how his sword can spark with what appears to be green electricity though.

Always good to have one of those characters that just dives into a battle ^_^

Sometimes it works... other times it tells everyone else ... "hmmm better think this out a bit."

It's why he's a bodyguard, he's intensely loyal enough that he's willing to do stupid things to protect his liege.

Aww, how nice, he's volunteered to serve as a distraction so the others can break the summon.

Well. That or he's very foolish.

He totally planned out that getting punched in the face, you can see it in his eyes ^_^

Meanwhile anyone else love the Fire Elemental's victory pose?

Note that the fire elemental isn't burning anything. And it's being used by a forest dweller in their home forest.
Nobody's expecting a forest fire.

Obviously this is a coldfire elemental.

No, I don't believe so, just a couple of pages earlier Lucian said that the whole forest is warded against fire. [:)

Even if it IS that, note how foxman didn't catch fire either. He's not even signed.

Notice, it is his armored shoulder and sword that got hit.  By the lines of magic that were spinning around his sword, it's likely got some wards on it, and I would suspect the same for his armored side.  Probably warded as well as the forest.  :P

LurkingWolf got a point there Jenia.

As the new comic points out, warding irrelevant.
Plus his ear looks like it's in range of the flames.
