Ah HAH! So the good half came from the egg. The bad half comes from the staff. It makes sense!

Also: Emiline looks so cute and happy :3 Vir.... please.... ;-;

You know, most parents just have to say not to play with the sharp objects, or the things under the sink.
Ancient uplift-feralization staves from alien naga conquerers of the stars are a new level of Don't.

Lord Julian continues to earn points in the Terrible Father category.

Wait a second... if the western half of Naga was meant to possess the fur who touches the staff, then why did it choose Emiline? It should’ve been Julian or anyone else who got that close. I’m not convinced that W-Naga chose her, because she had the good half in her first. Naga wouldn’t want a body like that, it restricted her, you can kinda see it too.

I expect "Choosing" had simply to do with knowledge of what Emiline was, and taking advantage of said situation.

Fair point, good derg Emiline might just be Naga’s biggest threat. Subduing her took care of that.
