Title: Now hear me out [human art ahead, beware]
Post by: Ominethious on February 21, 2017, 07:57:28 AM
Seeing as most the forum are artists, and I'm curious to see their critical opinion of some small bits of art I've managed to make. I would really like to have some suggestions if any can be given!

*Note that I can only draw traditional because I lack any digital art setup*

Well, here it is;

This is about the best I can do as far as facial or clothing is concerned. *Note that it's not complete, as with ALOT of my attempts* https://imgur.com/KcpBP0N

Meanwhile this slightly older drawing is about the best I can do with a character in armor. https://imgur.com/acxR2Mn

I may add more of my older stuff if you guys want to nudge me to that. c:

Looking good Omni, keep up the good work. Art takes time and practice, you'll get there. You're already close.

The first picture looks pretty good, I suggest you do some more work on the joints. The armour looks good as well, I suggest you look at real life armour for styles and work a little more on the joints. Keep up the good work! {:)

Thanks for the advice Flufy! I hope I'll improve on that as soon. As I can get the time to! Though, with ALOT of my art I oddly enough never have a reference image to take from. owo

Thank you! I hope I can just find the time between everything I'm having to do..

My only problem stopping me from trying digital art is my father, and time. So for now I'm kinda stuck at traditional art.

Also! Updated the first one because I just realized I used an older version. Guess I should link some more art I've done in the past c:

I've finally finished a reference for my OC!

The face isn't that good, but the rest looks fine to me. Thoughts?

*Also can someone explain why it makes it automatically flips the IMG on its side when attaching?

I think it looks great. You did a wonderful job. ];) I have no idea why the images flip either. It's probably VirBot's fault...
