Didn't Voltar mistake Lucian for some sort of "pet" last time?

Wonder what he'll think when he's small enough to hide under one of his hats.

I can see why they think Voltar would be hesitant about letting them borrow his ship after what happened to the last one, and I don't blame him.

I think it's more that Lucian doesn't want to have to deal with him. Voltar would love to give them a ride being the real main character and all.

The real reason for Voltar to give rides is... captive customer base! You can't just leave, unless you can fly (I bet he could sell you something for that).
